I have a few posts regarding Services for Adults. They revolve around Cody's Day Program and are either inspirational or short and humorous. Sometimes humor is just what we need to make it through the day. ;)

Here they are:

These first two kind of go hand in hand...

1) "Kind Words from Cody's Day Program"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2011/12/kind-words-from-codys-day-program.html

2) "Some Days Are Just Better Than Others"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2011/12/some-days-are-just-better-than-others.html

Three and four also go hand in hand

3) "My Absolute Favorite Client"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2010/08/my-absolute-favorite-client.html

4) "A Special Kind of Friend"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2012/01/special-kind-of-friend.html

Number five is an eye opener and, I feel, an important read for parents.

5) "I May Never Be an Empty Nester"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2011/07/today-i-cry.html

and this last one is a funny one about Cody's sibling and his Day Program.

6) "Cody, His Overprotective Drama Queen Sister and the Duck Pond"
http://www.snippetsnstuff.com/2011/09/cody-his-overprotective-drama-queen.html

If you would like to use any of my posts and/or change the titles, please email me...

Here is a link to my page. It deals with everything from IEP, to pitfalls of being just a girl that falls inbetween the blurred line of autism.
Hope it helps. I have also worked extensively with children with Autism so I am much better at giving advice to others than when it comes to dealing with your own child...go figure...Ha. Enjoy.

Here is a link to my blog. It goes over everything from the first signs, diagnosis, SPD issues and the wonderful world of an IEP. I have a fairly extensive background in Autism. Life changes quickly when you are on the other side of the fence. I am much better at giving advice than following my own guidelines. Go figure. Enjoy.
